American Horror Story Cast News!

I know, I know - I've been slacking. Writing a novel and balancing work is no easy task, but I'm back now - and you may have noticed, I have a new blog name! The fabulous Tammy Theriault came up with the idea, and I love it! Thanks, Tammy!

So, onto the news!

Even before the last episode of "American Horror Story: Asylum" aired, fans were super excited to see which cast members would hop on board for Season 3. Thankfully, due to the show's success, our favorite actors and actresses have wasted no time agreeing to come back for more creepy shenanigans. Let's take a look at the stars who have already signed up for another season.

Jessica Lange A collective sigh of relief was heard when news broke that Jessica Lange had signed up for Season 3. Lange is the heart and soul of "American Horror Story," and without her, it just wouldn't be the same. While there is always superb talent in the cast, Jessica brings that extra bit of magic that encourages viewers to come back for more. ...Read More

'American Horror Story' - The Finale!

I know, I know, two posts in a row about "American Horror Story," but it just wouldn't be right not to talk about last night's finale.

Dude.

If every episode of this season was as strong as the last two, I'd have been yabbering on about it with enthusiasm the whole time. I'm not really apologetic about the weeks I thought the show had gone way off the rails. There were times when I outright HATED it.

BUT, here we are, the final episode aired, and I am still thinking about it. The one thing "American Horror Story" always has going for it is the strong cast. Last year, Jessica Lange was the superstar. Actually, she will always be the superstar - the woman is incredible. But this year really highlighted the talents of Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Zacahry Quinto, Evan Peters and Dylan McDermott.

For those of you who haven't seen the episode yet - prepare to blub. Because it's kind of heartbreaking.

American Horror Story Season 3 - Analyzing the Clues!

I'm not gonna lie. I've been pretty disheartened with this season of "American Horror Story." I know I mentioned that before, so I will swiftly move on to something a little more promising.

Fans of the show will be familiar with Ryan Murphy's end of season clues. In Season 1, there were some very big clues that Season 2 would be set in an asylum. But if I am reading it correctly, Season 2's clues are a lot more subtle. Of course, I could be way off base, but I am not the only one who spotted these things. Take a look, and let me know what you think! Did I miss anything? Have you seen a different set of clues?

Jessica Lange to Return for 'American Horror Story' Season 3

In spite of what my last two posts would have you believe, this blog isn't solely about awesome rock music (though there will be a lot of that!). Aside from my head-banging alter-ego, there is also a side of me that loves TV.

I was addicted to Season 1 of "American Horror Story" last year. The characters, and the completely deranged plot kept me hooked the whole way through. I haven't been quite as crazy about Season 2, though. The premise is awesome. Having the show set in an asylum should have been brilliant. There are so many horrors that could have taken place. Sadly, most of the events seemed to be there for shock value, which has made it difficult for me to be enthusiastic about it.

That said, I am ecstatic the show has been picked up for a third series. Why? Because maybe it will take a half-step back from all the insanity, and just give us a great story the way they did the first time around. And you know what's even more exciting? The supremely talented Jessica Lange has already signed up to return! Honestly, if it weren't for her, I probably wouldn't have continued to watch this season. She is just such a brilliant actress, I can't help but love the characters she plays - even when they aren't so nice!
